Sweet Baby B
A couple of months ago, I did a session for my cousin. Her sweet little girl was 6 months old at the time. She did such a good job- we were out there for about 2 hours and changed her outfit 4 times! These are just a few of my favorite shots.
I had to post this picture, even if it is a little grainy, it's still sweet

Just another hobby?
As a stay-at-home-mommy, I get a lot of great ideas about projects I want to do around the house, hats I want to knit, blankets I want to sew...and the list goes on and on. Most of the hobbies I take on end up getting left behind because they take more time than I'm willing to give ::or than I think I have:: to complete them!
When I graduated from A&M (about 5 years ago), I decided to buy a 'nice' camera as my graduation gift to myself. I've always enjoyed taking pictures and convinced my husband that I could learn how to do this 'photography thing' and told him how much money we would save because we would never have to pay for pictures of our children. I have taken a lot of portraits of our little boy, but I also have an awesome bestie who happens to be a photographer. If you're in the Dallas area (or anywhere, you never know where she'll go!), you should check out Elle Dee Photography- she's amazing!
Anyway, in the past couple of years, people have asked me to take portraits for them. It all started when a friend of mine asked me to take some maternity pictures of her when she was pregnant with her little boy. Photography has become something that I am passionate about. It excites me when I can capture a moment and turn it into something for people to treasure for a long time.
I say all of this to ask...is this just another hobby? That may be all it turns out to be, but for now I've decided to make it the hobby I focus on. I've learned a lot about photography in the past couple of years and love it when I can use what I've learned to create beautiful images for people. I created this blog as a way of showcasing my photo sessions. I honestly got tired of posting my portraits on facebook- wanted something slightly more professional. If you are interested in portraits or know someone who is, {babies, children, family, maternity, seniors, etc.} please contact me for pricing and scheduling information (jbeallphoto@gmail.com) I also do event photography {birthday parties, wedding/baby showers, anniversary celebrations}. I would love to capture memories for you!
